Due to the controversial arguments that can occur during an innocent discussion about pregnancy, we are asking that all threads dealing with pregnancy be discussed in the Very Boring Grown-ups Association.
If you are unable to join the VBGA at this time due to age limitations, we apologize for this inconvenience.
Any and all threads discussing pregnancies in the Friends forum will be removed.

What sort of arguments? Oh well, MODs must be more attentive than me.
I think this is a wonderful idea, things were seriously getting out of hand sometimes! However I would like to ask for one clarification: is any mentioning of pregnancy not allowed in this forum? I mean pets being pregnant, a celebrity being pregnant, our ponies being pregnant, nothing?
For pets, it would be in The Pet Association.
We've kept our eye on a fair share of argumentative threads concerning pregnancy
Pet pregnancy needs to be in the Pet Association regardless of this information post. Pony pregnancy should be done in Discussion. And as far as celebrities go provided its mentioned in passing and not a drawn out discussion, it shouldn't be a problem.
It is the flat out discussion of pregnancy that we are asking be removed from this forum and moved to the more appropriate one.
What about equine pregnancy threads? I assume they will still belong here in Friends since this concerns human pregnancy.
I also just want to clarify that all discussion of pregnancy within the VBGA must be within the Pregnancy thread we have going, no individual threads allowed to discuss pregnancy, thank you!
Thank you so much! This is a positive move, no doubt about it.
I'd have to say I fully support this.
I also am extremely happy to see this. Thank you so much!
I am happy to see that the feedback from you all is a positive one. We have been discussing the proper placement of pregnancy threads for quite some time now.
What an excellent move. :3
You have no idea how happy I am to see this new rule :3
Throwing my two cents in... I'm happy about this change, I know that I for one can be kind of rabid when it comes certain pregnancy issues, and I don't even know what arguments are being referred to.
I like seeing the happy baby news!
This is a total lose/lose situation for me.
Another in huge support of this change/move.
It's not "no pregnancy at all" on PI. Just that it only can be in the Very Boring Grownups Association. You can still read all about the happy baby news and pregnant people in the VBG if you want!
Yeah I was in VBG, and dont plan on going back.
So whatever. No baby news for me then I guess.
Then I'm sorry, but that's your issue, not PI's. I'm sure you can still chat about it in PMs with friends who are interested.
Yeah I realize that its my loss, but I still dont have to like it hahah.
Love this! For so many, many reasons.
-squishes Sunneh- Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I fully support this.
Quote Maggie Murder:
No, you don't have to like it, but as we have stated, we apologize for the inconvenience
Glad to see everyone else has no huge problems with it tho Thank you all for the support! As Ash commented, this was definitely not a fly by night decision. We debated this topic for a few weeks before coming to a group consensus
Im glad about this move of topic. To me it seemed to be every single day there was many new threads about pregnancy. Considering the age group on the site, I am very very glad.
would it be possible to get a link to the VBGA? I also like seeing baby announcements? Kind of sucks that people just can't be happy about another person's pregnancy without having to deal with the 'your too young' blah blah blah.
I agree with the move, since it will cut down on the negative feedback to the mothers-to-be.
WahKeetcha: one-third bad intentions, one-third pure avarice, one-eighth sawdust.
Here you go.

Oh, I'm quite sure it being in the VBGA will cut down on negative comments. Most of the negativity was towards children having babies. Since the VBGA has an age limit we hopefully won't have to hear about underage children having babies.
